Nikola Knežević, originally from Belgrade in the Republic of Serbia, is an architect and artist based in The Netherlands. He obtained a Bachelor's and an Master's at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade and an MFA at Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam. His interdisciplinary practice and research are focused on body and corporative architectural styles.
Nikola Knežević exhibited his works in Belgrade, Vienna, Brussels, Dieppe and at 11th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice. Recent public presentations in the Netherlands include the group exhibition Ahistoric Vacuum at EYE (2016, Amsterdam), the installation SHOW MORE at Stroom Den Haag (2015, Den Haag, collaboration with Bruno Listopad), Sandberg Institute’s Graduation Show 2015 (2015, Amsterdam) and the talk at A Public Event on Disorderly Group Behavior in Public Space at Het Nieuwe Instituut (2014, Rotterdam).
