The purpose of this workshop is to explore how to built a financially sound partnership with a network of museums, creating an exhibition that has both global and local aspects and can be adapted to different venues. The session will consist of a short presentation on Football Hallelujah as an example of a successful (European) touring exhibition. The exhibition was literally and figuratively a game changer, because of the original way of looking at football as well as the exhibition/business model. The group will the develop a selection of ideas for possible future exhibition projects.
Together the group will select 4 or 5 themes with local as well as global aspects. At the end of this phase small groups are formed to co-create an international exhibition, structured around assignments asking the participants to look into both the possibilities for presenting their theme (in a attractive and interactive way), as well as looking into the financial aspects of co-creating a touring exhibition. The groups will the present their ideas back to the group.
